IMIA (International Medical Interpreters Association) is committed to the development of an interactive Research Committee, where everyone can and may participate meaningfully. We are setting up a research database of people, bibliographic materials and opportunities for communication of unique value not only to IMIA members but to anyone interested in medical interpreting. It will multiply the depth and breadth of our everyday activities and research initiatives, as well as make visible to the wider world the true nature of medical interpreting.
